As part of its commitment to social responsibility, Ferrovial Services is working with Grupo Amás, Asociación Madrileña de Ayuda a la Infancia (AMAIF) and Fundación Recover to promote social projects in the field of labor market inclusion and education.

Ferrovial Services, in cooperation with Grupo AMÁS, has launched a social inclusion program related to work in Madrid. This initiative focuses on training people in situations of vulnerability for specialized jobs such as cleaner, stocker, clerk and industrial laundry staff. This social integration initiative is in addition to the company’s Trade School, which provides theoretical and practical training to people in vulnerable situations.

Promoting digital education in Burkina Faso

Ferrovial Services, with Asociación Madrileña de Ayuda a la Infancia AMAIF, performed a complete upgrade of the computer room in a school in Burkina Faso, including the provision of all the necessary hardware. This initiative, implemented in the city of Ouagadougou, helps to promote innovative, creative and dynamic education in rural areas by providing students and teachers with basic tools for their educational development.

Raising awareness about malaria in Cameroon

And with Fundación Recover, Ferrovial Services has set up a malaria prevention, diagnosis and treatment service for schoolkids in Cameroon which is helping 1,200 children and their families. The project includes malaria awareness-raising campaigns in schools in cooperation with health centers.
