AENOR recognizes Ferrovial Services' commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the ODS 2020/001 certification, which reflects that the company's sustainability strategy and its contribution to the SDGs conform to the criteria established by AENOR in connection with responsible strategies and the 2030 Agenda.

The AENOR certification is inspired by the principles of the United Nations and the Global Compact and seeks to recognize companies’ contribution to the SDGs and reaffirm the importance of including the goals in organizations’ strategic plans.

In 2020, the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility department worked for the adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by Ferrovial Services, aware that the services sector has considerable capacity to contribute to the new sustainable development agenda and the promotion of better living standards, in economic, social and environmental terms.

After analyzing the company’s business and its governance model from the standpoint of the 2030 Agenda, priority has been given to the SDGs to which the company contributes most prominently, namely: SDG 3 Good Health and Wellbeing; SDG 5 Gender Equality; SDG 7 Affordable and Clean Energy; SDG 8 Decent Work and Economic Growth; SDG 9 Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure; SDG 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities; SDG 12 Responsible Consumption and Production; SDG 13 Climate Action, and SDG 17 Partnerships for the Goals.
